Hello!
My name Is Joshua Luongo, and I am a Charlottesville based singer/songwriter and performer. Making music has been my passion ever since I was little, but I always felt too afraid to "take the leap" and pursue it more seriously, but those days are over. If its not worth doing with your whole heart, its not worth doing at all, so I am "taking the leap." Follow along with me to see where it goes!
BIO
Joshua Luongo is songwriter and performer based out of Charlottesville, VA. Josh got his start performing originals at open mic nights all around Virginia in September 2024. Joshua would often be seen at The Southern, Holly's Diner, Uptown Coffee, and the Bunker Bistro performing short 2-3 song sets to small, intimate crowds. In January 2025 Josh had his first full performance with a backing band at First Free Coffee in Charlottesville and things have been moving uphill quick ever since then. Josh is now building momentum with an extensive list of shows all over Virginia at breweries, farmers markets, restaurants, community events and even a 6 day tour through West Virginia.
Joshua Is currently finishing up the writing on his debut album, and will be hitting the studio hard at the end of the Summer, stay tuned!

I hosted Joshua at First Free Coffee Bar and thought he was an excellent performer. He made sure that the volume of his music was appropriate for the venue which is important for a place where people want to study or chitchat with friends and family. All of his songs were 100% family friendly which was great since First Free Coffee Bar caters to people of any age. I really enjoyed that he ended the performance with two songs that the audience was able to sing along to. I am thrilled to welcome him back to First Free Coffee Bar soon, and hope that you will join me!
